Why was my IP banned?

EarnApp aims to have the best possible network for our enterprise customers. We use multiple 3rd party services to measure the quality of IP addresses. If these services flagged your IP address, it might not work for EarnApp. Here are a few possible reasons for this:

  • The IP address was detected as VPN / High Risk, which means that you may be using a VPN or the IP address has a high fraud score which means our 3rd party providers received abuse reports from websites for the IP address which may be caused by less reputable bandwidth sharing applications similar to EarnApp that you may be using which will generate an abnormal number of requests per second on your IP caused by the use of automated applications know as "bots" and therefore damaging your IP.

To determine the status of your IP address, we recommend using the following link to check your IP score: https://www.ipqualityscore.com/free-ip-lookup-proxy-vpn-test/lookup/

  • The wrong IP address (DCH) type means you are not using a residential IP, but a data center IP. - For example, if you run EarnApp on a VPS.
    - Your ISP provided you with a DCH IP (happens often since they are much cheaper)

  • The IP address is in an unsupported country, which means that EarnApp does not currently support your location.

Possible solutions:

1- If you have a Dynamic IP just turn off your router for at least 5 min and start it up again. You should get a new IP address.

2- If you have a Static IP (if the method above didn't work). There's only one way to get a new one and it's by calling your ISP and asking them for a new IP address, they may or not be able to provide you with one, it entirely depends on their policies. Normally after 24h, you reboot your router and you would have a new IP address.

3- You can contact the available databases and ask them to review the category of that IP in case the cause of the block is for DCH (Datacenter), here is an example of some:
